Electric Kettle Cordless

Crafting a hot cup of tea has never been easier, thanks to the electric kettle. These gems can boil five cups of water in fewer than five minutes.

Today’s electric kettle cordless units rival the good old fashioned stove stop kettle, but without the worry of over boiling, or forgetting that you left a pot on the fire. Slip in your tea leaves or convenient tea bags, turn the gizmo on, and shortly, enjoy your tea. Most of the electric tea kettles in the market today feature auto shut off safety, so should you ever forget that you’ve got something brewing, you need not worry about returning to a burnt pot. You can even take these puppies with you when you travel. All you need is an electric outlet, and presto, you’re brewing.

Electric tea kettles come in a variety of colors, shapes and materials. For the practical, there are inexpensive models that do the job just fine. For the stainless steel lover, there are some clad in that beautiful brushed metal, and you can have it sitting out on your counter without worrying about it not matching the rest of your stainless steel appliances. Electric kettle cordless appliances can be bought online, in department stores and specialty shops. There’s a model out that will suit your needs.

So, what about the old fashioned whistling that grandma used to rave about? Well, most electric kettles today have gone away with the mechanical version of the whistle; instead, an electronic chime will alert you when your kettle’s contents are ready for you. Speaking of contents, tea is not the only thing you can make in your kettle – anything that needs hot water can be supplied by hot water from the kettle. Think hot chocolate, jello, or even cup of noodles.

Electric kettles are great gifts and has a much better chance of being appreciated than, say, an assortment basket. It’s a substantial gift and most people have a need to get water boiling; the microwave, useful as it is, just isn’t made to boil four, five or more cups of water. Whatever the occasion, the electric kettle as a gift will work. It is a perfect house warming gift.

How do these things work? Well, the electric kettle cordless is equipped with a heating element, which allows it to quickly bring up to several cups of water to a nice boil. Using it is simple. Just fill the kettle with water, using the water-level indicator to gauge volume, then return the electric kettle to its base, and turn it on. In a couple of minutes, you will have hot water for use in tea, coffee, hot chocolate, instant soup and even oatmeal. The cordless kettle can be taken away from its base to allow you to serve the hot water sans dangling cord which may get in your way. Other features that some models employ, which you’re sure to enjoy are soft-touch buttons, a reminder chime, mineral filter, easy grip handle, and cord storage. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, most electric kettles have an auto shut off feature when water reaches full boil. This same feature also prevents the electric kettle from operating if there is no water in the unit.

Caring for the electric kettle cordless unit is easy, and if done right, your kettle should last for a long time, well beyond most small electric appliances. Calcium deposits will build up, so make sure to clean the kettle with an appropriate product, or proven home ingredients such as vinegar and warm water. Vinegar is an acid and will loosen up and dissolve the calcium, which you can then manage with a scouring pad. However you approach the cleaning, a little care is in order so that you do not scrub too hard and end up damaging the heating element. Once you’re done, pour out the vinegar mix, rinse the kettle, then dry. Around 20 minutes should be fine. Optionally, once you’ve done this, fill the kettle with water, bring it to a boil, then dump all of it to completely remove any lingering debris.

Your electric kettle will probably be in regular use not only at home, but also when you travel. Any place that offers electricity will be able to power up your electric kettle cordless unit, adding to the flexibility of your kettle. You may even use it outside the country provided the electric kettle cordless unit can safely accept 220V, and you brought along a power plug adaptor. Have a son or daughter heading off to college? Send them an electric kettle cordless unit, so they might drink more tea and hot chocolate during study time. Better than them reaching for another type of beverage, don’t you think? Ultimately, what you will find is that the versatility of the electric kettle cordless unit is unmistakable and it should earn a place in your home for all those moments that call for warm or hot water.
